Late 19th century

An Anglo-Indian or British colonial office chair in teakwood with a newly upholstered black leather seat. The straight shaped back with seven spindles. The arms rest on scrolled supports. The chair still has its original revolving and swivel mechanism, which allows to comfortably lean back- and forwards. The seat rests on a quatro formed base and can be adjusted in height.

The chair is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
