Anglo-Indian Teakwood Chest of DrawersMid 19th century
A large British colonial chest of drawers made of teakwood. The top section has three short drawers over two longer drawers. The bottom part with two long drawers. All of the drawers are flush fitting with the original recessed brass handles and a keyhole inlaid with rosewood. The piece stands on a plinth resting on four small square legs.
The chest of drawers is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
