The interior of the hinged lid is fitted with three splats allowing for paper storage.
The box was found in Bombay, India and made during the colonial era.
The box has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The rosewood has a dark shade with a striking grainBombay
