Anglo-Indian Rosewood Pedestal Table with Marble TopEarly 19th century
A British colonial William IV rosewood round table with a circular marble top above a deep frieze with a moulded lower edge. The table stands on a beautifully carved pedestal and a quadroform base with hollowed sides which rests on four scrolled feet. Five feet in diameter, the table seats 6-8 people comfortably.
The table is in good condition and has been lovingly restored to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The marble has been replaced.
